Modern life

Found this picture and it made me chuckle! Mum, Dad and Els all enjoying the company of their portable entertainment systems!

Front garden plans

With the arrival of the beast (new 4x4) the realisation we need to do something about the parking situation has hit home.

Here's a photoshop rough-we've been given the informal go ahead by the council with regard to the dropped curb-now we just have to part them money to make it official!

Ripping ale & Cosgroves

A visit from Rowena's cousin and family coincided with the Ripping-ale festival. A merry time was had by all!

FENTON!

A liberty weekend visit from Elspeth and family. Farm park fun-all kids got on like a horse on fire! (my phone made that error but I kept it! Works well with the farmyard theme!)

Scarecrow

When the Buxton's came to visit, thirds was our creation for the allotment scarecrow competition! 3rd place!

Late announcement

As you can tell.....much of this is not in order! Rowena is pregnant with number two- Caesar is bookend for 18th October 2012

NYC

Jonny and Rowena left Logan with Granny for a long weekend to attend Rowena's school friend's wedding in Orangeburg New York.

Waffles, pancakes and dad dancing....what a combo!

Smashed it

Logan breaks his leg with a compression (torus) fracture on the trampoline. A few pics of the back slab and the final blue cast which he became pretty speedy running on!

Village buddy

Logan and Tom

It's my party.....

Dad (grandad grew) turns 60. Great gathering and fun on the bouncy castle once the other guests had left!

Included is a picture of the party boy as a baby! Aaahhh!

Lovely jubilee

A great old feel to the village as hand made bunting appears to commemorate the diamond jubilee.  Even the beacon was lit!

Baking

Making some form of cake, cookie or pudding is becoming a regular activity with Logan

Birthday

Forgot I had photos of this-Logan's second birthday cake-a 'neee naaaa'

Holiday

Logan's first foreign trip. The Vendee really season. Wonderful family fun.

Garden developments

It's been a busy year for gardening. New veg area, compost heap, fencing, path, shed and a bit of an elaborate guttering system to harvest rain water!

Christmas

Logan helps select a suitable tree.
