Dave and Sophie's wedding

All of these posts are 'well out of order'!

Here's Dave and Sophie's wedding from 19th December. Rowena and Logan couldn't make it but Jonny had the responsibility of providing the cake for the day *gulp*.

Thankfully the cake was enjoyed and it was a cracking celebration!

Rippingale Snow

We are family!

Not the most flattering photo of any of us.. but only one with all 4 of us!

Uncle Sam took this one minus Nutmeg!

First smile caught on camera!

Earlier than expected, Logan was smiling! We caught this snap on 4th January 2010!

At this point there was also much interest in a simple black and white book on faces from Vicky, Alex and Fern. He likes to smile at himself in the mirror on the front!

NCT meet-up 1

On 3rd January 2010 we hosted a meet-up with 2 of the couples from our NCT antenatal course.

Heather and Richie introduced Molly
Vicky and Alex introduced Fern

The Chocolate log recipe was a success!

'Uncle' Sam visits

Sam Jones returned the the UK for Christmas and we were really glad that he was able to visit and meet Logan. The weather was very festive and Sam and Jonny took Logan for a walk around the village. We then all ventured out for a pub lunch.

Back to hospital

Logan saw the health visitor on 13th December and he'd lost 21oz from birth. As this was more than the 10% they allow for he was admitted into hospital on the childrens' ward.

The little chap was very brave and didn't really make a fuss at all.... even though he was pricked and prodded all over. He had a feeding tube for the first night and then IV antibiotics to deal with a suspected urine infection.

To Help with weight gain, Logan was top-up cup fed expressed milk too!

Rowena and Logan did get a visit from Bec Merrill and Harriet which helped the 'ground-hog day'. Bec, Chris and Harriet we kindly Jonny's bed for the nights so he could stay in Lincoln and save lots of traveling to and from Rippingale.
